The Annual CAF Awards Banquet with the Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable was held on May 10, 2012 at the Avalon Banquet Center in Merrillville.
Each year, the Construction Advancement Foundation honors the best projects in Northwest Indiana with the CAF Awards. The annual Awards recognize the ongoing success of industrial, commercial and public works projects, and the companies and organizations behind them, which are driving economic development and job creation in the region.
To be eligible for an award, a project must have been completed between May 1 of the preceding year and April 1 of the current year. Nominees must detail how they met or exceeded the following criteria: safety; excellence in partnering and teamwork; quality in project management; innovation and uniqueness in construction techniques; sympathy for the environment and its surroundings; character and value that was added to the community; and craftsmanship.
